The generosity and sponsorship of the San Francisco Folk Music Club and The City of El Cerrito Arts and Culture Commission have made the annual El Cerrito Free Folk Festival possible. This diverse and lively event was founded in 2009 by then Festival Director and San Francisco Folk Club Secretary, Ken Hayes, to promote the arts in the East Bay.
The Festival Program
The El Cerrito Free Folk Festival presents a full schedule of performers, workshops and dance. There are two main stages, as well as a number of smaller performance areas for indoor and outdoor jams. Workshops are held in two locations, along with dedicated areas for the Family program.
Food and other vendors are available onsite.
